Oasis accessories to invest $4.8m in Bepza economic zone
Oasis Accessories (Pvt.) Ltd., a Bangladeshi company, will invest US$4.8 million to build a garment accessories factory in the BEPZA Economic Zone, Mirsharai, Chattogram.
BEPZA and Oasis Accessories signed an agreement on Monday (8 September) at the BEPZA Complex in Dhaka.
The company will produce 1 million carton boxes, 42 million poly bags, and 1 million metres of foam annually, creating employment for 311 Bangladeshi nationals.

So far, Oasis Accessories and 47 other companies have signed investment agreements with BEPZA EZ, boosting the total proposed investment to US$1.03 billion.
Md Ashraful Kabir, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA, and Md. Selim Reza, Managing Director of Oasis Accessories, signed the agreement in the presence of BEPZA Executive Chairman Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, BSP, ndc, psc. Senior officials from BEPZA and company representatives also attended the ceremony.
