NRBC Bank offers eid gifts to remittance beneficiaries during ramadan
NRBC Bank PLC is observing Ramadan as a "Special Remittance Service Month" to encourage expatriates to send remittances through formal banking channels and to expand related services.
On this occasion, the bank is offering special gifts to remittance beneficiaries until Eid. The programme was inaugurated on Thursday, 26 February 2026, by the bank's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Md Touhidul Alam Khan.
Deputy Managing Director Muhammad Abdul Qaium Khan, Chief Human Resources Officer Faisal Ahmed, Chief Risk Officer Serajul Amin Ahmed, Head of International Division Hasnat Reza Mohibbul Alam, Chief Financial Officer Rasedul Islam, and other senior officials were present.
Speaking at the event, Dr Md Touhidul Alam Khan said NRBC Bank, as a remittance-focused lender, gives the highest priority to expatriate income services. The Board of Directors and management consider the remittance segment one of the bank's key strategic service areas, he stated.
"The special gifts are being offered to share the joy of Eid with the families of expatriates," he said.
The bank stated it remains committed to delivering remittances quickly, safely, and conveniently through its nationwide branch and sub-branch network. To enhance service quality for remittance clients, dedicated "Remittance Service Desks" have been introduced at all outlets.
As part of the initiative, the special gift distribution programme will continue throughout Ramadan, the bank stated.
