NRB Bank reviews performance, outlines 2026 strategy
The Annual Business Conference of NRB Bank PLC was held on 17 January 2026 at Gulshan Club Limited, Dhaka, under the slogan "Year of Resurrection".
The event was attended by Chairman of the Bank Iqbal Ahmed OBE DBA as the chief guest. Managing Director and CEO Tarek Reaz Khan presided over the conference.
Key attendees included Chairman of the Executive Committee Md Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, Chairman of the Audit Committee A K M Mizanur Rahman FCA, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee Shaikh Md Salim, and Independent Directors Ferdous Ara Begum, SK Matiur Rahman and Professor Sharif Nurul Ahkam.
Senior members of the bank, including Deputy Managing Directors Md Shaheen Howlader, Md Ali Akbar Faraji, Anwar Uddin and M Rashidul Huda, along with the senior management team, all branch managers and division/department heads, were also present.
The conference reviewed the bank's performance over the past year and finalised strategic action plans to achieve the targets set for 2026.
