NCC Bank launches islamic banking window at Motijheel main branch

NCC Bank has launched its Islamic Banking Window at the Motijheel Main Branch as part of its strategy to expand Shari'ah-based banking services.

Managing Director M Shamsul Arefin inaugurated the new service at a simple ceremony, accompanied by Deputy Managing Director Md Zakir Anam, EVP & Chief of Islamic Banking Division Abul Quasem Md Safiullah, EVP & Head of Motijheel Main Branch Syed Sadiqur Rahman, SVP & Head of Sustainable Banking Nighat Mumtaz, SVP & Head of IT-Enterprise Application Md Sajjadul Islam, and SVP & Head of Operations Syed Towhid Hossain.

Managing Director reaffirmed NCC Bank's commitment to meeting the growing demand for Islamic banking in Bangladesh. He noted that the bank has already received positive customer feedback following the launch of its full-fledged Islamic banking branch. As part of its expansion plan, NCC Bank intends to introduce Islamic Banking Windows in all its branches, starting with 32 key locations.

Arefin emphasised that the bank is dedicated to maintaining strict compliance with Shari'ah guidelines under the supervision of its Shari'ah Board. He invited businesses and customers to explore NCC Bank's Islamic Banking services, ensuring a seamless experience through the bank's digital platform.
