National Bank receives top ten Bank award
National Bank has received the 'Top Ten Bank Award' from the Centre for NRB in recognition of its outstanding contribution to remittance collection in 2024.
The award was presented on Saturday, January 11, 2025, during the inaugural ceremony of the year-long "World Conference Series 2025," themed "Branding Bangladesh," held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.
Md Touhid Hossain, Adviser for Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh and Dr Ahsan H Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, handed over the award. Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director (Current Charge) and Milton Roy, Head of the Foreign Remittance Division, received the award on behalf of the bank. M S Shekil Chowdhury, Chairperson of the Centre for NRB, along with other distinguished local and international guests, attended the event.
