National Bank holds card business conference
National Bank PLC held a card business conference on August 25, 2025, at the National Bank Training Institute, attended by branch managers and officials from the Dhaka North and South regions. Many managers also joined virtually via Zoom.
Imran Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director of the bank, attended the conference as the chief guest. Kazi Kamal Uddin Ahmed, deputy managing director (in-charge); Md Rajunur Rashid, executive vice-president and head of branch operations division; Ashish Kumar Laskar, executive vice-president and regional manager, Dhaka South; A S M Helal Uddin, senior vice-president and regional manager, Dhaka North; and Ujjal Kumar Paul, vice-president and head of cards, among others, also took part.
The discussions focused on strategies to expand the bank's card business and enhance service quality. Topics included market insights, customer feedback, business growth opportunities, strategic partnerships, and innovative approaches to increase market penetration.
Imran Ahmed emphasised the vital role of digital banking and card-based transactions in delivering superior service and ensuring security. He encouraged staff to remain committed and customer-focused, thereby strengthening National Bank's market position.
