Nagad ends father’s day campaign with heartwarming gift

Thirty-five participants have been awarded in Nagad's weeklong "Hello Baba" campaign, which concluded with a heartwarming surprise — a personal visit from celebrated actor Fazlur Rahman Babu to the home of one lucky winner.
Launched in celebration of Father's Day 2025, the campaign invited users to recharge their father's mobile number with at least BDT 100 via the Nagad app. Over seven days, five daily winners received BDT 1,000 each, totalling 35 recipients. But the most memorable prize came at the end — a surprise visit from Fazlur Rahman Babu to the family of grand prize winner Plabon Roy from Dhamrai.
As part of the reward, Babu spent time with Plabon's elderly father, sharing stories and enjoying a heartfelt conversation that left a lasting impact on the family.
Plabon said, "I never imagined that actor Fazlur Rahman Babu would come to our home. This wasn't just a gift — it was a dream come true for my father, who has been a longtime admirer of the artist. I am deeply grateful to Nagad for this unforgettable experience."
Actor Fazlur Rahman Babu, reflecting on the campaign, said, "This was a unique and meaningful initiative. In our busy lives, we often overlook the emotional connection with our fathers. Through this campaign, Nagad reminded us of the value of spending time with our parents. I was honoured to be part of it."
The campaign aimed to rekindle emotional bonds between fathers and sons, using simple acts of care, such as recharging a mobile phone, as a symbol of appreciation.
Nagad, one of Bangladesh's leading mobile financial service providers, has consistently used its platform to deliver campaigns that go beyond transactions. "Hello Baba" is part of a broader effort by Nagad to foster connection, emotion, and community engagement through digital services.
