Nabil Group offers discounted products and food aid during Ramadan

In honour of the holy month of Ramadan, Nabil Group of Industries has launched a food aid initiative to support 50,000 underprivileged and destitute individuals.
The group has also initiated the sale of its products at reduced prices throughout Ramadan.
The programme was inaugurated on Saturday morning at Nabil Group's R&D Centre in Bamanshikar Khorkhori, Rajshahi. Nabil Group of Industries Chairman Alhaj Md. Jahan Baks Mondol and Managing Director Aminul Islam graced the event.
During the event, Managing Director Aminul Islam said, "Ramadan is the most important month for followers of Islam, providing a unique opportunity for self-purification and the attainment of Taqwa. Unfortunately, many see this as a chance for excessive profiteering. Nabil Group has always prioritised the welfare of the country and its people. Therefore, we have taken the initiative to support the underprivileged during this sacred month. As part of this effort, at least 50,000 families will receive food aid in phases."
He added, "The conventional business strategy is to exploit market demand during Ramadan for excessive profit. We have taken a stand against this practice. Instead, we are offering our products at additional discounts, even below our predetermined profit margin. This has brought relief not only to the underprivileged but also to lower- and middle-income groups. Nabil Group is proud to stand by the people of this country, and we are committed to serving the nation's and its people's welfare."
Nabil Group of Industries Chairman Alhaj Md. Jahan Baks Mondol highlighted that Ramadan increases daily expenses for wealthy and low-income families. "With this in mind, Nabil Group has stepped up to support the underprivileged. Our discounted sales programme also enables lower- and middle-income households to purchase essential goods at reduced prices. Initiatives like this will continue in the future," he said.
It is worth mentioning that the Nabil Group of Industries has played a vital role in the supply and processing of food and agricultural products in Bangladesh for over a decade. As one of the country's leading business groups, Nabil Group is a major importer of wheat, lentils, peas, and soybeans. Last financial year, it ranked fourth in the country's food product imports.
