MTB will disburse loan to farmers at 4%
Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) will disburse agri loan through its own distribution channel amongst the farmers under Tk5000 crore Agri Refinance scheme of Bangladesh Bank.
MTB has signed a PFI agreement with the Bangladesh Bank in this regard on 8 January, reads a press release.
MTB Managing Director & CEO Syed Mahbubur Rahman signed this agreement on behalf of the bank.

This programme is aimed to ensure food security of the country by extending loans to farmers to produce crops, vegetables, fish, livestock etc.
