MTB Foundation initiates ‘Jol Torongo’ project in Lakshmipur

In a significant step towards improving lives in Char Alexander, Lakshmipur, MTB Foundation has inaugurated a Water Access Hub and Sanitation Facilities under its flagship project 'Jol Torongo' to address the region's long-standing safe water and sanitation crisis.
The Water Access Hub is designed to modernise access to clean and safe water, while the new sanitation facilities will enhance the dignity, privacy, and overall well-being of the marginalised community. The initiative directly contributes to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3, 6, and 15, promoting good health, clean water and sanitation, and the conservation of life on land.
The programme was inaugurated by Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer of the MTB Foundation, and Golam Rabbani, Associate at the MTB Foundation.
