Midland Bank officials complete Bancassurance training at Bangladesh Insurance Academy
A three-day training programme on Bancassurance, specially arranged for the officials of Midland Bank PLC., was conducted by Bangladesh Insurance Academy at its office in Mohakhali, Dhaka.
The concluding ceremony of the programme was held on Wednesday, 23 April 2025. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director and CEO of Midland Bank PLC., attended the event as the Chief Guest. Saswata Ray, Managing Director and CEO of Life Insurance Corporation Bangladesh Ltd. (LIC Bangladesh), was present as the Special Guest. The programme was chaired by S.M. Ibrahim Hossain, ACII, Chief Faculty Member of Bangladesh Insurance Academy.
Among others present at the certificate awarding ceremony were Md. Rashed Akter, Head of Retail Distribution and Chief Bancassurance Officer of Midland Bank; Khondoker Imran Hossain, Bancassurance Manager of Midland Bank; and senior executives and officers of the Bank. Faculty members of Bangladesh Insurance Academy, including A.H.M. Nazmus Shahadat Mia and Md. Abul Kalam Azad, also attended the event.
