Midland Bank donates blankets to prime minister's relief fund
As part of its corporate social responsibility programme, Midland Bank Limited donated 15,000 pieces of blankets to the "Prime Minister's Relief Fund" for cold-stricken poor people of the country.
Rezaul Karim, director and chairman, Executive Committee and Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, director and chairman, Risk Management Committee of Midland Bank, presented a token blanket to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a programme on Friday (10 November) held at the prime minister's office in Dhaka, initiated by Bangladesh Association of Banks, reads a press release.
