MG launches HS Hybrid+ and HS Super Hybrid in Bangladesh
MG Bangladesh has launched the MG HS Hybrid+ and the MG HS Super Hybrid (PHEV) in Bangladesh, marking a significant step in the brand's push towards intelligent and sustainable mobility solutions.
The new models are priced from Tk 49 lakh, reflecting a growing focus on fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and features tailored for everyday driving conditions in the country.
The MG HS Hybrid+ is powered by an intelligent hybrid system producing 221.3 bhp, which automatically switches between electric and petrol modes depending on driving conditions. The model delivers a real-world combined fuel efficiency of up to 23.8 km per litre, making it suitable for both city commuting and longer journeys.

Priced at Tk 59 lakh, the MG HS Super Hybrid (PHEV) offers extended electric-only driving capability. Equipped with a 24.7 kWh battery, it provides more than 120 km of pure electric range, enabling emission-free daily use. When combined with a full fuel tank, the total driving range exceeds 1,000 km. MG Bangladesh is also offering a complimentary 7.4 kW home charging station with each HS Super Hybrid.
Speaking at the launch, Hussain Mashnoor Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer of MG Bangladesh, said the launch reflects the company's long-term commitment to sustainable mobility in Bangladesh. He said the new HS models combine advanced technology, efficiency, and comfort, setting new benchmarks in the hybrid SUV segment.
Muhammad Mustafizur Rashid Bhuiyan, Executive Director of MG Bangladesh, said the response from customers indicates strong readiness for next-generation smart mobility, adding that the HS line-up is expected to redefine expectations in the C-segment SUV category.
Both models feature a fully digital interior, including a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Built on a 2,720 mm wheelbase, the vehicles offer generous cabin space, with 176 mm ground clearance to handle varying road conditions. Exterior features include 19-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, and MG's latest global SUV design language.
In terms of safety and practicality, the HS line-up offers a 507-litre boot, expandable to 1,484 litres. Standard features include seven airbags, MG Pilot ADAS Level 2, a PM2.5 air filtration system, and a premium multi-speaker audio system.
