Meridian Kohinoor city welcomes singapore-based global retail giant

Chattogram's largest experience mall, Meridian Kohinoor City, is set to welcome the Mustafa Mart, a Singapore-based retail brand, with the launch of its second outlet in Bangladesh.
On February 4, 2025, a formal signing ceremony occurred at Meridian Group's head office. S.M. Kamal Pasha, Meridian Group's managing director, and Mushtaq Ahmad, owner of Mustafa Centre, Singapore, agreed to a strategic business partnership and a mutual understanding to bring the international retail giant to the port city of Chattogram.
Mustafa Mart, a sister concern of the renowned Mustafa Centre in Singapore, opened its first outlet in Dhaka in 2012. It has earned a reputation across multiple countries and is known for offering a wide range of international and premium products at competitive prices. The upcoming outlet at Meridian Kohinoor City will mark its debut in Chattogram and is expected to introduce an elevated shopping experience for residents.
The new outlet will be housed within Meridian Kohinoor City, the largest and most modern experience mall in Chattogram, developed by Meridian Hospitality Ltd., a concern of Meridian Group.
