Mastercard awarded Enabler of Excellence  by EBL

Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) awarded Mastercard the prestigious 'Enabler of Excellence' award at the EBL Digital Excellence Summit 2024, hosted at the city's Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC).

This accolade celebrates Mastercard's outstanding contribution to enabling digital financial solutions and fostering innovation in Bangladesh's digital payment landscape.

Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager, Mastercard, received the award on behalf of Mastercard. Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO of Eastern Bank PLC; M Khorshed Anowar, Eastern Bank PLC's Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail and SME Banking; Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury, Eastern Bank PLC Head of Digital Financial Services, Jubaer Hossain, lead, Merchant and commerce and Mohibul Islam, Consultant, Technology Account Management from Mastercard were also present there.

 The awards were presented in three categories- Partners in Progress, Excellence in Business, and Enablers of Excellence during a gala ceremony graced by key industry leaders, Eastern Bank PLC partners, and merchants.
