Leisure hoteliers of Bangladesh holds iftar get-together at Amari Dhaka
Leisure Hoteliers of Bangladesh (LHB) organised an iftar get-together on 22 February 2026 at Amari Dhaka, bringing together representatives of leisure hotels from across the country, according to the organisers.
The event aimed to promote networking and collaboration within the hospitality sector during Ramadan.
Special guests included Shahid Hamid, FIH; Md Al-Amin, general manager of Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel; and Mohibul Islam, deputy director of the Bangladesh Tourism Board.

The event was presented by GUSTAV and supported by sponsors Pusti by TK Group, Mumtaz Herbal Products, etripi.com, Eco Travelers, and Savoy Ice Cream, with Amari Dhaka as hospitality partner, the organisers said.
Media representatives also attended the programme, the organisers added.
A key segment of the event was the announcement of LHB's newly formed 61-member committee. The committee was formed with Mohammad Imran Humayun Khan as president, Md Nazrul Islam as senior vice president, and Shamim Hasan as general secretary, the organisers said.
The programme concluded with a call for unity and continued collaboration to advance Bangladesh's leisure hospitality sector.
