LankaBangla launches tree plantation programme
On the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a tree plantation programme was recently launched by the LankaBangla Foundation at the Sheikh Hasina Software Technology Park in Jessore.
As part of the programme, about 2,000 saplings of fruit-bearing and wood trees will be planted at Sheikh Hasina Software Technology Park, said a press release.
LankaBangla Finance Limited Managing Director and CEO Khwaja Shahriar and TechCity Bangladesh Ltd General Manager Maj Md Moslem Uddin Sikder inaugurated the programme on 9 September.
