LafargeHolcim contributes Tk2.25 crore to labour welfare fund
LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC (LHB) has contributed approximately Tk2.25 crore to the Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation Fund under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, reaffirming its commitment to worker welfare.
The contribution was made in accordance with the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006.
On behalf of LHB, Human Resources Director AKM Atiqur Rahman and Business Development Director Neel Savio Azavedo formally handed over the cheque to Brigadier General (Retd) Dr M Sakhawat Hussain, Adviser to the Ministry of Labour and Employment, on 8 July.

The handover ceremony was also attended by Md Munir Hossain Khan, Director General of the Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation, and Sarker Shoeb Ahmed, General Manager of Corporate Affairs at LHB.
