Korean story festival 2026 to showcase five films in Dhaka
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea will host the Korean Story Festival 2026, a two-day showcase of acclaimed Korean films that highlights the country's vibrant cinematic landscape.
The festival is scheduled for 17–18 April 2026 at the National Museum of Bangladesh, with free entry for all.
The event seeks to engage film enthusiasts and cultural audiences with a curated line-up spanning drama, action, historical, and slice-of-life genres.
Five acclaimed Korean films will be screened as part of the festival.
Friday, 17 April: "Mal-Mo-E: The Secret Mission" at 4pm; "Luck Key" at 6pm.
Saturday, 18 April: "Assassination" at 11am; "Little Forest" at 2pm; "Escape from Mogadishu" at 4:30pm.
The Korean Story Festival aims to promote cultural exchange between Korea and Bangladesh through film.
Organisers said each film reflects unique aspects of Korean history, society, and daily life, offering Bangladeshi audiences insight into Korean culture.
