Kazi Farms donates BDT 1.21 crore to the Chief Advisor’s fund for flood relief

Kazi Farms, in collaboration with Kazi Media Limited and Kazi Food Industries Limited, has donated a total of BDT 1,21,88,838 to the Chief Advisor's Fund for Flood Relief. The cheque was presented on September 9th to Faruk-E Azam, Bir Pratik, the Honourable Advisor for the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, in a ceremony held at the ministry.
The donation was the result of a unique initiative where employees of Kazi Farms, Kazi Media Limited, Kazi Food Industries Limited, and Sysnova Information Systems Limited contributed one day's salary. This amount was then matched by the employers, culminating in a substantial total.
Present at the cheque handover were Kazi Zahin Hasan, Director of Kazi Farms, and Tanvir Haider Chaudhury, CEO of Kazi Food Industries Limited.
In addition to the financial contribution, Kazi Farms has pledged to support rural farmers impacted by the devastating floods. The company will provide chicks to these farmers, helping them restart their poultry farms and recover their livelihoods.
Kazi Farms has long been committed to enriching the nation's protein sources by producing high-quality poultry products. This initiative further underscores the company's dedication to supporting the community, especially in times of crisis.
