Kaspersky partners with Robi to offer premium cybersecurity solutions in Bangladesh

Robi Axiata PLC, in collaboration with Kaspersky and ICT Distribution, has officially launched a strategic partnership to introduce Kaspersky Premium for Robi and Airtel subscribers in Bangladesh. The initiative marks a significant step toward strengthening digital security across the country by bringing world-class cybersecurity solutions directly to mobile users.
The partnership was formally announced at an event held at the Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel, attended by industry leaders, cybersecurity experts, and media representatives. The occasion signalled the beginning of a new chapter in the nation's digital resilience.
As digital adoption accelerates across Bangladesh, the threat landscape continues to evolve. The need for real-time protection from malware, phishing, ransomware, and other online dangers has become critical. Kaspersky Premium offers comprehensive and accessible cybersecurity, now integrated seamlessly with Robi and Airtel's mobile billing systems to ensure ease of access for users.
The launch is being hailed as a timely move to foster a safer Digital Bangladesh, particularly for the country's youth, who form the core of the internet generation. Students, content creators, gamers, and young entrepreneurs—those who rely heavily on mobile platforms—stand to benefit most from these enhanced digital safety measures. With Kaspersky Premium, young users are shielded from threats, their identities protected, and parents can rest assured as their children explore, learn, and create online.
Speaking at the event, Shihab Ahmed, Chief Commercial Officer of Robi Axiata PLC, said, "This is more than a product launch—it is a step toward safeguarding our users as they explore the digital world. Robi is committed to being the enabler of safe and smart connectivity."
Choon Hong Chee, Head of Consumer Channel for APJ at Kaspersky, noted, "This partnership reflects our strong commitment to protecting users wherever they are. Bangladesh's dynamic digital landscape requires robust security, and Kaspersky is proud to deliver that with the support of Robi and ICT Distribution."
Ali Obaid, Group CEO and Chairman of ICT Distribution, added, "Our role has been to localise a global cybersecurity brand like Kaspersky and ensure smooth execution across the Robi and Airtel networks. This partnership sets a new standard for mobile security in South Asia."
The event was attended by 40 to 50 participants, including representatives from Kaspersky, ICT Distribution, Robi Axiata PLC, and members of the media.
Kaspersky Premium is now available for Robi and Airtel subscribers through both web and mobile platforms, offering a streamlined subscription and activation process. The partnership reflects a shared vision—to build a safer, smarter, and digitally secure Bangladesh. For further information, please visit: https://kaspersky.ictdistribution.net
