Junior Chamber International elects new national executive Vice President

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh has declared its new national executive committee for 2025.

Md Altamis Nabil was elected the new national executive vice president (EVP) at the organisation's recently held national extraordinary general assembly.

In this new committee, entrepreneur Kazi Fahad has been elected as the new national president of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh, and young entrepreneur Arefeen Raafi Ahmed has become the new deputy national president.

JCI Bangladesh said in a statement that the voting for this NEVP role was held at the extraordinary general assembly of the organisation's Bangladesh branch at a resort in Gazipur on Friday, January 17. The New board will serve until 2025. JCI Bangladesh's Immediate Past National President, Imran Kadir, congratulated the new board.

Altamis Nabil began his professional career after earning an electrical and electronic engineering degree from the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology. He is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Youth Upskill Network (YUNet) and the Head of Managed Services at MIAKI. This multinational juggernaut manages one of the country's national-level ICT-based projects.

For many years, he has been uplifting the lives of countless young individuals worldwide, guiding them as trainers in areas ranging from Personal Branding to content Writing, Leadership, Safe Internet, App Monetization, and more. He has also served as the founding editor of several online news portals. Currently, Nabil writes regularly in national dailies on film and career-related topics.

Nabil has authored many books in Bangladesh and  India on Cinema and Skill development topics. He has also had a directorial role in Sports97 Ltd., the prime sports management company, and the Neon Group, an automobile consortium. As an independent filmmaker, he has directed several short fiction films and gained local and international acclamations.

Earlier in JCI, he worked as the Local President of JCI Dhaka West in 2022, National Vice President in 2023, and Training Commissioner in 2024 & he was also honoured as a JCI Senator.

'The main goal of this youth-oriented organisation JCI Bangladesh next year will be to actively participate in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals through various initiatives lead by our local organisations and by JCI, brand a positive Bangladesh globally', added Altamis Nabil, the newly elected national executive vice president.

The organisation JCI is found in over 100 countries and has a membership of more than 200,000 worldwide. JCI Bangladesh operates in Bangladesh with more than 40 local organisations and has a member base of more than 4000 nationwide.
