Janata Bank signs MoU with DNCC on fee collection, payroll services
Janata Bank PLC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Dhaka North City Corporation to provide services related to the collection of various fees and charges, as well as the processing of salaries and allowances of DNCC employees.
The MoU was signed at a ceremony held on Tuesday (27 January, 2026) at the DNCC headquarters. DNCC Administrator Mohammad Ejaz and General Manager of Janata Bank PLC's ICT Division Mohammad Anis signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Prior to the signing, DNCC Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Asaduzzaman and Managing Director of Janata Bank PLC Md Mojibur Rahman delivered brief remarks highlighting the importance of the collaboration.

Among others present at the event were General Manager of Janata Bank PLC's Dhaka North Divisional Office Md Anichur Rahman Akand, DGM of Gulshan Circle-2 Corporate Branch Ferdousi Begum, and senior executives and officials from both organisations.
The agreement is expected to streamline financial transactions, improve service delivery efficiency and enhance transparency in DNCC's revenue collection and payroll management processes.
