Janata Bank marks International Women’s Day
Janata Bank PLC organised a programme on Sunday to greet women employees at its head office with floral greetings, marking International Women's Day.
The event was held under the theme: "For all women and girls: rights, equality, empowerment." Bank Chairman Muhammad Fazlur Rahman attended as chief guest.
The programme was chaired by Managing Director Md Mojibur Rahman. DMD Kazi Abdur Rahman and Md Fayez Alam were also present. Women executives and officials, along with other executives and officials from the head office, attended the event.

In his brief remarks, Muhammad Fazlur Rahman called for greater attention to improving the physical and mental wellbeing of women in the country, and urged them to engage more in sports.
Md Mojibur Rahman said Janata Bank has introduced special services for women.
