Islami Bank rolls out month-long ramadan drive to promote welfare products
Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC launched a month-long campaign titled "Ibadat-Sanchay-Dan: The Three Welfare of Ramadan" at Islami Bank Tower on 17 February 2026.
The bank said the campaign aims to promote its welfare-oriented products and services and to encourage customers to use a range of accounts and schemes. These include the Mudaraba Waqf Cash Deposit Account, Mudaraba Hajj Savings Account, Mudaraba Mohar Savings Account, Mudaraba Bibaha Savings Account, Digital Daan Box and the Mudaraba Umrah Savings Scheme.
Md Omar Faruk Khan, managing director of the bank, inaugurated the campaign as chief guest. Md Mahboob Alam, deputy managing director, presided over the programme, while Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder and Dr M Kamal Uddin Jasim, additional managing directors, also spoke.
Senior executives and officials from the head office were present. Zonal heads, branch managers and sub-branch in-charges joined the programme virtually.
