Islami Bank hosts African delegation for exchange of views
A view-exchange meeting with an African delegation visiting Bangladesh was held on 21 September at Islami Bank Tower, organised by Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC in collaboration with the Centre for Zakat Management (CZM).
Md Omar Faruk Khan, managing director of Islami Bank, attended as chief guest, while Dr Mohammad Ayub Miah, CEO of CZM, was present as special guest.
Dr M Kamal Uddin Jasim, additional managing director of Islami Bank, delivered a presentation on the bank's welfare-oriented activities. Muhammad Lawal Maidoki, chairman of the Association of Zakat and Waqf Operators in Nigeria, spoke on behalf of the delegation.
