The Institute of Personnel Management (IPM) Bangladesh, the country's first professional organisation of human resource (HR) practitioners, has formed its new Executive Council for the 2026–2027 term.
The new council was constituted through the organisation's formal process held on 31 December, 2025.
Enamul Haque, Head of HR at National Life Insurance PLC, has been elected as president of the newly formed Executive Council. Hasan Al Mahmud, Assistant Registrar (Human Resources) at Southeast University, has been elected as secretary general.
The newly elected leaders expressed their strong commitment to achieving the goals and objectives of IPM Bangladesh. They pledged to play an active role in enhancing professional competence in human resource management, expanding training programmes and creating internationally recognised opportunities for members.
Founded in 1980, IPM Bangladesh acknowledged the contributions of its former leaders, members and well-wishers for their role in the organisation's continued progress. The organisation also expressed optimism that, under the leadership of the new Executive Council, IPM Bangladesh would play a more dynamic, effective and member-focused role in the future.
