Impact Hub dhaka opens second location in Banani
Impact Hub Dhaka officially inaugurated its second location in Banani on 12 March 2026, marking a significant step in the organisation's expansion to support entrepreneurs, innovators and changemakers in the capital.
Founded in 2020, Impact Hub Dhaka operates its flagship hub at Grameen Telecom Bhaban in Mirpur. The 7,762-square-foot facility has built a community of startups, young professionals and social innovators. The new Banani hub represents the next phase of that mission, extending the organisation's presence into one of Dhaka's busiest business and creative districts.
"Today's launch is more than a new address; it is an invitation," said Mustain Karim Chowdhury, programme manager of Impact Hub Dhaka. "Banani is where a new generation of founders, freelancers and changemakers are already showing up every day. We are here to give that energy a home – a place to connect, collaborate and turn bold ideas into something lasting."
The Banani location will offer flexible co-working memberships, private offices, event and workshop spaces, and access to flagship entrepreneurship programmes. The 2,850-square-foot hub is designed to accommodate both independent professionals and growing teams.
Members will also gain access to the global Impact Hub network, which spans more than 110 hubs and 320,000 impact-makers worldwide, opening up opportunities for collaboration beyond Bangladesh.
Since its founding, Impact Hub Dhaka has partnered with organisations including UNFPA, UNHCR, USAID, ILO, CARE, Citi, Bank of America and Shopify. The organisation said these partnerships have helped deliver programmes that trained hundreds of entrepreneurs, advanced women's economic empowerment and expanded access to inclusive innovation in Bangladesh.
