IFIC Bank launches ramadan and eid offers for cardholders
IFIC Bank has launched a set of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr offers for its credit and debit cardholders, featuring cashback and discounts across lifestyle, fashion, hotels, restaurants, travel partners and superstores, the bank said.
IFIC Bank said it has more than 600,000 cardholders and is expanding its card proposition through festival-centric rewards, flexible terms and competitive charges.
The bank currently offers two main credit card variants—IFIC Visa Gold and IFIC Visa Platinum. IFIC Visa Gold is positioned for day-to-day spending, while IFIC Visa Platinum offers additional lifestyle benefits, the bank said.
IFIC Bank also announced plans to launch Visa Signature, Mastercard Titanium and Mastercard World cards, which it said would provide customers with wider benefits for domestic and international transactions.
The bank said it offers a 100% annual fee waiver for the first year. From the second year, the annual fee is waived if customers make at least 12 transactions in a year. It also said it offers fund transfer facilities from cards to bank accounts, other cards or mobile financial services (MFS) at rates it described as below market.
Ramadan and Eid offers
Under the campaign, the bank said cardholders can access:
- fashion and lifestyle: up to 30% discount at Aarong and Yellow; up to 20% cashback at Le Reve, Richman, Sailor, Ecstasy, Cats Eye, Top Ten and Apex
- dining and hospitality: "buy one get three" (B1G3) offers for iftar and sehri at selected five-star hotels, including Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka and InterContinental Dhaka; plus discounts at other restaurants
- superstores: cashback offers at Unimart, Agora, Shwapno and Meena Bazar
- travel: discounts on travel packages through partner travel agencies
IFIC Bank said it aims to increase its cardholder base to 1 million and is onboarding more discount and EMI partners nationwide.
The bank said it is also prioritising the "Bangla QR" initiative to promote digital transactions and is increasing incentives and promotional activities for merchants to encourage cashless payments.
