Ideal business festival attracts more than 5,000 students in Motijheel
The 3rd Ideal Business Festival 2025 took place on 7–8 November at Ideal School & College, Motijheel, attracting more than 5,000 students from across the country. Organised by the Ideal Business & Career Club, this year's edition returned under the motto 'The Comeback of Possibilities', providing school and college students with a platform to explore innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
The campus adopted a festive atmosphere with business competitions, learning sessions, and over 20 stalls featuring handcrafted items, jewellery, cosmetics, and food products. Nearly 3,000 students attended on the opening day alone.
"We are honoured to support a platform where innovative ideas find their voice and grow into meaningful impact," said Principal Laila Akhter.
The two-day festival featured a range of segments, including a Business Olympiad, Case Solving, Wall Magazine Presentation, Extempore Speech, Digital Poster Design, Mobile Lensation, Strategic Heist Challenge, Real-life Tic Tac Toe, and Hunt Down the Flag. A special workshop titled 'Roadmap to DU IBA' was conducted by Sadman Harun Alvee and Rafida Anjum.
"This year's comeback proved that no barrier can diminish passion," said festival moderator Khaleda Aziz. Club President Safrin Sarkar added that the festival was "a revival of belief, courage, and endless possibilities".
Thirty participants received medals and crests across various categories, marking the largest edition in the festival's history.
The event was supported by Earth's Ants (Bronze Sponsor), Kishor Alo, Somoy TV, TBS Graduates, Khandani Chitro, Infogram, Magnus Academy, Alpenliebe Chewy, Tick Host, Go Green, Red Event & Management, The Business Standard, and The Daily Campus. Several school and college clubs also participated as event partners.
The Ideal Business & Career Club announced plans to expand its activities through incubation programmes, national-level competitions, corporate partnerships, skill-development training and digital entrepreneurship initiatives in the coming year.
