IBA-JU alumni body announces new executive committee
The new executive committee of the alumni association of the Institute of Business Administration at Jahangirnagar University, known as the Jahangirnagar University Alumni Association of Business Studies (JAABS), was announced recently in the presence of IBA-JU Director Prof Dr Ireen Akhter.
Md Quamrul Hassan, executive director and chief operating officer of ACI Consumer Brands Limited, and a member of the first batch of IBA-JU, has been elected president. Mashahed Hassan Simanta, of the 22nd batch, has been elected general secretary.
Sadia Sharmeen has been elected vice-president, while Sagor Hasnath will serve as treasurer.

The other elected executive members are Tasfia Zinnat, channel manager at Unilever; Palash Saha, faculty member at IBA-JU; and Khalid Hussain, brand marketing specialist at Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF).
The newly formed committee will work to strengthen the IBA-JU alumni network and promote collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and professional development among its members.
