Hult prize grand finale crowns victorious team at JKKNIU

The much-anticipated Grand Finale of the Hult Prize On Campus Program at JKKNIU witnessed an electrifying display of innovation, resilience, and entrepreneurial brilliance.

After months of preparation and rigorous competition, the event reached its grand climax on February 1, 2025, in the Conference Room, Administrative Building, where six exceptional teams- Boost Your Productivity, Nexus, Tears of Joy, Amani and Ubuntu, Ambition Avengers, and Breaking Barriers—competed for the prestigious title.

The final round was a battlefield of groundbreaking ideas, where participants captivated the esteemed panel of judges with their visionary solutions for global social challenges. After an intense showdown, the winning teams are as follows: the 2nd runner-up of the event is "Team Nexus"; the 1st runner-up is "Amani and Ubuntu"; and the champion team is "Breaking  Barriers"! The winning teams emerged as the ultimate champions, their groundbreaking idea stealing the spotlight and earning them a well-deserved victory. Their project, which focuses on sustainable development, social entrepreneurship, etc., left the judges in awe and set a new benchmark for future innovators.

Distinguished guests graced the event, including Chief Guest Professor Dr Md Jahangir Alam Sir (Vice Chancellor, JKKNIU). The esteemed judges of the final round - were Mr Asif Ahnaf (Founder, Co-Chair FBCCI,  Global e-commerce, Russel A Kawser ( CEO at Learning Mate &  CMO of Team Digital, MD. Moniruzzaman Bahar (Commercial Development Manager Nestlé), Muhammad Aminur Rahman ( CEO and Chief Photographer- Checkmate Events), Nahid Hasan (Head of Marketing, Excellence Bangladesh). Our honourable Advisors Chandon Kumar Pal (Assistant Professor, Dept. Of Finance & Banking), Dr Md Mahbubur  Rahman Jony(Associate Professor, Dept. Of Electrical & Electronic Engineering), Proctor Mohammad Toriqul Islam Jony ( Assistant Professor, Dept. Of Management) also distributed wisdom as event Judges. Our honourable judges evaluated the teams and praised the participants for their creativity and problem-solving skills. They were also presented to all organisers of the Hult Prize, event ambassadors, faculty members, and an enthusiastic audience that cheered on the finalists.

The electrifying speeches from Organizing Board members, especially from the Deputy Organizer and Team Head from the organising board, remind all of us of our mesmerised journey! At the end of the programme, our mentor and deputy campus director delivered a thought-provoking closing speech that emphasised the importance of innovation, teamwork, and perseverance. Their words left a lasting impression on the participants and the audience alike. We want to give special thanks to our energetic organising Top body members - Belal Hasan Shawon, Rizve  Ahmed, Alvi Amin Sarker, Sadia Afrin Salvy, Faizul Islam Nayem, S M Tosin Rahman; all of them deserve special recognition for orchestrating such a well-executed event.

The Hult Prize OnCampus Program at JKKNIU continues to inspire young changemakers, igniting the spirit of entrepreneurship and social impact. As the winning team prepares for the next stage in their journey, they carry the trophy and the dreams of a better, more sustainable future.

With this exhilarating conclusion, the Hult Prize Grand Finale 2025 has once again proved that innovation and determination can break all barriers. Here's to celebrating the Changemakers of tomorrow!"
