Guardian Life shifts to MFS and bank channels for all transactions

Guardian Life Insurance Limited has announced a permanent end to all cash transactions with customers, saying it will conduct all premium collections and claim settlements through cashless channels.
Under the new model, premiums may be paid exclusively via mobile financial services (MFS) and banking channels, while all claim payments will be credited directly to customers' bank accounts.
The company said the move delivers greater transparency, accountability and financial security, allowing policyholders to pay premiums, track claim status and complete transactions from home.
Guardian Life stated that it is the first and only fully cashless insurance company in Bangladesh, describing the step as "a leap forward in customer trust and service innovation" that sets a new benchmark for the industry.
