Glass cleaner brand Mr Brasso transitions to colin
Bangladesh's long-established glass cleaner brand Mr Brasso has transitioned to Colin, a modern, premium glass and surface cleaner with a global brand identity. 2026 marks the first full year of this transition, supported by a new and improved formulation launched in January 2026, which is now available in the market.
As part of the rebranding, popular Bangladeshi actress and model Sabila Noor has been appointed as the brand ambassador of Colin.
For decades, Mr Brasso was a familiar household name across Bangladesh. Now reintroduced as Colin, the brand enters a new phase with a refreshed identity, enhanced performance and a focus on building stronger connections with contemporary consumers. In a category often viewed as undifferentiated, the brand aims to reposition glass and surface cleaning around a key consumer priority — shine.
According to the company, the new Colin formulation delivers five times more shine, provides a streak-free finish and is effective on more than 100 surfaces, extending its use beyond glass to a wide range of everyday cleaning needs.
The appointment of Sabila Noor reflects the brand's shift towards a more modern and aspirational image. The actress has recently gained widespread attention for her on-screen performance alongside Shakib Khan, particularly through the song "Lichur Bagane". Known for her strong appeal among younger audiences, she represents the brand's positioning around contemporary living and effortless cleanliness.
Speaking about the association, Sabila Noor said she was pleased to join the brand as its ambassador. "This partnership reflects my belief in confidence and shine in everyday life. I look forward to representing a brand that stands for simplicity, creativity and authenticity," she said.
