Galleria and SOLARIC Ltd sign MOU for net metering

A significant agreement has recently been signed between "Galleria – Your Second Home," located on Foy's Lake Road, and "SOLARIC Ltd.," a renowned company in the field of eco-friendly and renewable energy.
Under this agreement, a 56 kW net metering solar power system will be implemented in a commercial building in Chattogram City for the first time.
CPDL President Engr graced the signing ceremony. Iftekhar Hosen, SOLARIC Ltd. Managing Director Engr. Didar Islam, and Director Nazneen Akter. Other representatives from both the CPDL family and SOLARIC Ltd. were also present.
As part of the agreement, solar panels will be installed across the rooftop of Galleria, enabling the project to supply electricity back to the national grid and avail the benefits of net metering. This initiative is not only aimed at saving electricity but also marks a pioneering step towards environmental preservation, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions.
According to the agreement, Galleria will utilise world-class Trina Solar 700 Wp Tier-1 panels, which are among the highest-capacity solar panels in the country. Additionally, Sofar Solar inverters featuring advanced German technology will be used.
This innovative move adds a new dimension to Chattogram's future urban development. Galleria's initiative will undoubtedly inspire other institutions to adopt environmentally friendly energy solutions.
