Foodpanda expands lifestyle retail to offer World Cup jerseys
Foodpanda has launched a rapid jersey delivery service in Dhaka, delivering FIFA World Cup 2026 team kits in under an hour as part of its expansion of the lifestyle retail portfolio.
Nearly 20 specialised vendors, including Jersey Freak BD, Bazaar Lagbe, Jersey Champs BD and Tesco Supermarket, are participating in the initiative, making official jerseys easier to find without the usual retail queues.
The service currently covers Gulshan, Uttara, Mirpur, Khilgaon, Dhanmondi and Bashundhara R/A.
Jerseys representing nearly 20 countries are available, with Argentina, Brazil, England, Germany, Spain and Portugal among the top sellers.
The jerseys are available in standard sizes (S, M, L, and XL) and priced between Tk500 and Tk1,500.
Selected vendors are also providing promotional discounts.
Customers can access the jerseys via the foodpanda app by searching for "jersey," selecting the "Shops" option, and browsing brands to complete their purchase now.
The launch highlights foodpanda's continued expansion into lifestyle retail as it positions itself as an everyday solutions provider.
"Convenience today is not just about food delivery; it is about accessing what you want, when you want it," said Mohammad Tabrej Khan, Director of Q-Commerce at foodpanda Bangladesh.
"Whether it is groceries, essentials or now jerseys, the expectation is the same — fast, reliable and seamless delivery. We are building an ecosystem that brings everyday shopping into a single app experience," he added.
By integrating a network of local businesses and retailers, foodpanda aims to redefine everyday access for Bangladeshi consumers and reinforce its position as the country's go-to app.
