First steering committee meeting of the 29th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) 2025 held

The 29th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) will begin on 1 January 2025 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in Purbachal. The first steering committee meeting was held today at the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), chaired by Mr. Mohang Selim Uddin, Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce. The meeting discussed key policies, stall allocations, and entry ticket prices.

Seminars on emerging sectors and products will be held, and a sourcing corner will attract foreign entrepreneurs. The fair will have children's parks, a seating area for senior citizens, and an open cultural centre to promote local products. Special initiatives will focus on young entrepreneurs, and stalls will be reserved for women, differently-abled individuals, ethnic minorities, cottage industries, and government organisations. EPB will have its pavilion showcasing its services.

The fairgrounds will include over 500 parking spaces, with enhanced security and daily anti-adulteration campaigns. Services such as mother and child centres, a mosque, and a dedicated bus service between Kuril Bishwa Road and the fairgrounds will be available.
