FinExcel conducts AI in banking and NBFI training
Financial Excellence Limited (FinExcel) has organised a two-day training programme titled "AI in Banking and NBFI – Smart Tools for Smarter Banking" at Hotel Lake Castle, Dhaka.
A total of 33 participants from leading banks and non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) across the country attended the 12-hour programme, which focused on the applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in risk assessment, fraud prevention, trading, portfolio management, operational efficiency and microfinance.
The programme was inaugurated by Syed Abu Naser Bukhtear Ahmed, Director of FinExcel and current Chairman of Agrani Bank PLC. Certificates were distributed by Mamun Rashid, Chairman of FinExcel, at the closing ceremony. The sessions were coordinated by Nilufar Rahman, CEO of FinExcel.

Industry experts including S M Tofayel Ahmad, Mahbubur Rahman Alam, Dr Faizul Bari, Shariful Hasnine Sabuj, M Manjur Mahmud, Aminul Islam and Philip Sunny Gomes conducted the sessions, highlighting the transformative role of AI in Bangladesh's financial sector.
