Exchange of views with the private universities in the Comilla -Feni region held

A discussion meeting, freshman reception, farewell reception, and Pitha festival were held at Comilla's CCN University of Science and Technology campus. Distinguished guests, teachers, and students participated in meaningful discussions and celebrated academic achievements in a joyful atmosphere.
In the second part of the day-long event, representatives of private universities located in the Comilla-Feni region discussed the issues of increasing academic cooperation, educational excellence and various problems of private universities. Ishtiaq Abedin, Secretary General of the Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh ( APUB ) and founding member of the American International University - Bangladesh ( AIUB ), in his speech as the chief guest, emphasised on student care and building a strong community in the higher education sector.
The meeting called for possible steps for government support in infrastructure development, simplifying administrative processes and establishing permanent campuses, which is essential to ensure a sustainable and high-quality learning environment. The meeting was chaired by Dr Tariqul Islam Chowdhury, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of CCN University of Science and Technology, and was attended by Feni University Board of Trustees Vice Chairman A R Kaiser, Trustee Member Dr A S M T Ullah, Registrar Dr. Farhatul Islam, Treasurer of Britannia University Dr. Mizanur Rahman, CCN University Trustee Member Iftekharul Islam, Vice Chancellor Dr Shah Jahan and Director of the Private Universities Association Office Belal Ahmed, Head of Public Relations Department of American International University - Bangladesh AHM Tuhin and other officials were present.
The first part of the ceremony honoured the outgoing graduates and warmly welcomed the new students. At the Pitha Festival, students display various local flavours of pitha and puli and entertain guests.
