Excellent Ceramics Group to get insurance services from MetLife

Excellent Ceramics Group, one of Bangladesh's largest Tile and sanitaryware manufacturers, recently signed a contract with MetLife to provide insurance facilities to its employees.

As part of this contract, Excellent Ceramics Group employees will receive insurance coverage for loss of life, accident, disability, and hospital expenses. The company has selected MetLife as its employee insurance provider due to the insurer's customised solutions, faster payment of insurance claims, and financial strength. Over 870 employees of Excellent Ceramics Group will benefit from the insurance coverage.

Excellent Ceramics Group has been a household name in sanitaryware since 2010 and tiles since 2021. The group has grown and diversified into many successful and impactful ventures, earning a leading business status.
MetLife provides insurance protection to over 300,000 employees and their dependents of more than 940 organisations in Bangladesh. In 2024, MetLife policyholders received about BDT 2,895 crore in claims.
Abdul Hakim (Sumon), Managing Director, Excellent Ceramic Group, and Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Director and Head of Employee Benefits of MetLife Bangladesh, signed the agreement at the MetLife Bangladesh Head Office.
