Emirates operating reduced flight schedule after partial airspace reopening
Emirates has said it is operating a reduced flight schedule until further notice, following the partial reopening of regional airspace for the safe operation of commercial flights.
For 5 and 6 March, more than 100 flights are scheduled to depart from Dubai and return, according to the airline. These flights will carry passengers travelling to their destinations, as well as essential cargo, including perishables and pharmaceuticals.
Emirates has said it will gradually restore its schedule, subject to airspace availability and operational requirements. The airline added that safety remains its top priority, and that it is monitoring the situation and adjusting operations accordingly.
Emirates advised customers to travel to the airport only if they have a confirmed booking, and urged them to check emirates.com and its official social media channels for updates.
