Eicher, Runner and Rangs launch ramadan cleanliness drive across Bangladesh
Eicher Trucks and Buses, together with its partners Runner Motors and Rangs Motors, has launched a Ramadan-focused cleanliness initiative across key locations in Bangladesh, emphasising civic responsibility and community care.
The nationwide campaign, titled "Holiness Begins with Cleanliness", commenced at Rupatoli Bus Terminal in Barishal. According to Eicher, the initiative encourages communities to volunteer to maintain shared public spaces during Ramadan.
The campaign also reflects Eicher's brand line, "Notun Samay. Notun Bhavna", the company said, positioning social responsibility as integral to progress.
Following the launch in Barishal, volunteers conducted a clean-up drive at Faridpur Bus Terminal on 1 March, working with transport workers to clean and sanitise the area. The initiative then moved to Madaripur Government College on 2 March, where students participated in the campaign. On 3 March, volunteers organised a clean-up programme in front of the National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar.
Eicher stated that its responsibility extends beyond delivering commercial vehicles, adding that the campaign aims to engage commuters, students, community volunteers, and transport workers in supporting community wellbeing.
