Edotco Bangladesh expands ‘tower to power’ initiative

EDOTCO Bangladesh, the country's leading telecommunications infrastructure provider, continues transforming the lives of the underserved through its 'Tower to Power' CSR initiative.
Expanding its renewable energy support, EDOTCO has equipped St. Francis High School in Dinajpur with 2.2 KW uninterrupted electricity sourced from solar panels integrated into its telecom tower.
This initiative addresses the school's persistent power shortages by supplying electricity to student hostels and ensuring a comfortable and conducive learning environment for 250 students and staff. The launch event was attended by Sunil Issac, Country Managing Director of EDOTCO Bangladesh; Dr. Sabbir Ahmad, Director of Engineering; Md Monowar Sikder, Director of Operations; the District Education Officer of Dinajpur; the Bishop of the church; and school authorities.
