DIMFF 2025 announces esteemed jury panel for 11th edition
The 11th Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival (DIMFF) 2025 will occur on February 22 at ULAB Campus A, Dhanmondi, and February 23 at STAR Cineplex, Shimanto Shambhar.
The festival, known for celebrating mobile filmmaking, received 117 submissions from 28 countries. Out of these, 27 films have been selected for screening across four competitive categories: Open Door Film, Short Film, Vertical Film, and One Minute Film.
The jury board of DIMFF's 11th edition consists of two groups. Noted. Bangladeshi director Taneem Rahman Angshu will review the films in the 'Open Door' and 'Vertical' categories. On the other hand, renowned Hollywood Director and Writer Richard Greenwood JR. will judge the 'One Minute' and 'Short Film' categorised films. DIMFF is pleased to announce that the selection of the finalists has been completed.
Greenwood Jr. expressed his admiration for the submissions and excitement about participating in the festival, stating, "I had the great honour to be a judge for the Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival. I was truly impressed and inspired by the films I saw from all over the world. I wish all the filmmakers the best and a fruitful future—keep making films!"
Meanwhile, Taneem Rahman Angshu highlighted the filmmakers' dedication and creativity, noting that he thoroughly enjoyed reviewing the submissions and commended the hard work behind each film.

This year's festival will conclude with a grand closing event at STAR Cineplex, where winners across various categories will be recognised for their outstanding contributions to mobile filmmaking. DIMFF continues establishing itself as a global platform for aspiring filmmakers, offering them a space to showcase their talent and creativity through mobile filmmaking.
