Dhaka Bank holds 2025 Managers’ Conference

Dhaka Bank PLC. hosted its Managers' Conference 2025 in Cox's Bazar on 11 April with the objective of establishing the bank as the most compassionate financial institution in the country. Themed "One Team, One Vision – Achieving Growth Through Synergy", the conference brought together leadership and frontline managers to align on strategic goals and values.
The conference was inaugurated by Mr Abdul Hai Sarker, Chairman of the Board of Directors, as chief guest. Mr Sheikh Mohammad Maroof, Managing Director and CEO of Dhaka Bank PLC., presided over the event.
Also present were Founder Vice Chairman and Sponsor Mr A.T.M. Hayatuzzaman Khan, Directors Messrs Altaf Hossain Sarker, Abdullah Al-Ahsan, Amirullah, and Mohammad Jashim Uddin, as well as Former Director Mr Khandaker Mohammad Shahjahan and Independent Directors Professor Bilkis Ara Begum, Firoz Ahmed, and Dr Mohammad Ali Taslim.
Senior leadership of the bank including Additional Managing Director A K M Shahnawaj and Deputy Managing Directors Md Mostaque Ahmed, Akhlaqur Rahman, and Sheikh Abdul Bakir attended the event alongside all branch managers, operational managers, and heads of divisions, units, and SME/OBU branches.
In his address, the Chairman emphasised unity, collaboration, and mutual understanding as key drivers of achieving even the most ambitious goals. He encouraged the Dhaka Bank family to embrace synergy and compassion as guiding principles in their work.
The conference reviewed the bank's performance in 2024 and the first quarter of 2025, and outlined strategic plans for the coming year. Participants engaged in interactive sessions and forward-looking discussions aimed at strengthening operational collaboration and ensuring sustained growth.
