DESCO's meeting held to enhance customer service and power reliability

Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited (DESCO) organized a meeting to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the upcoming Ramadan month and summer season, improve customer service, and enhance the skills of DESCO officials.
Mr Muhammad Rafiqul Islam, Chairman of the DESCO Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer (Secretary) of the Public Private Partnership Authority, was the chief guest.
In the meeting, DESCO Chairman Mr. Muhammad Rafiqul Islam said, "Our main goal is to provide the best service to our customers. We are taking special measures to ensure that no customer suffers from a power outage during the upcoming Ramadan and summer season." He also gave various guidelines to the officials to enhance their professional skills.
DESCO Managing Director Brigadier General Shamim Ahmed ndc, PSC (retd) and senior officials attended the meeting. The officials discussed various aspects of ensuring an uninterrupted power supply during the upcoming Ramadan and summer seasons. They discussed the possible challenges and their solutions to provide continuous power supply, especially during Iftar, Sehri and Tarawih prayers. They pledged to resolve any customer problems quickly. In addition, other vital issues of DESCO were discussed in the meeting.
