Daily and monthly transaction limit in bKash account increased

From now on, customers can send up to a maximum of Tk 50,000 per day and a maximum of Tk 300,000 per month from the bKash account.

At the same time, a customer can cash in a maximum of Tk 50,000 per day and a maximum of Tk 300,000 per month to the bKash account to carry out all necessary transactions.
Last Thursday (March 27), the Payment Systems Department of the Bangladesh Bank issued a notification increasing the daily and monthly transaction limits in mobile financial services (MFS) accounts. The central bank took this initiative based on customers' trust in the service and increased transactions in the MFS sector.
Until now, a customer could cash a maximum of Tk 30,000 per day and Tk 200,000 per month. The daily cash-out limit was Tk 25,000 and a maximum of Tk 150,000 per month, increasing to Tk 30,000 per day and Tk 200,000 per month.
Through this notification, the balance limit in a bKash account has also been increased from Tk 300,000 to Tk 500,000. This means a customer can deposit a maximum of Tk 500,000 lakh in a bKash account.
