CRP, Mentors’ join hands to boost English skills of rehab professionals

The Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) and Mentors' Education Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance the English communication skills of CRP employees. The British Council will support the initiative as a partner.
Professor Dr Mohammad Sohrab Hossain, Executive Director of CRP, and Anindya Chowdhury, Director and CEO of Mentors' Education Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Valerie A. Taylor, Founder of CRP, and Maxim Raimann, Exams Director Bangladesh at the British Council, were present during the signing ceremony, along with senior officials from both institutions.
In their remarks, Valerie Taylor and Dr Sohrab Hossain expressed their appreciation for the initiative, acknowledging the role of English proficiency in building stronger engagement with both local and global partners. They noted that this partnership would further elevate CRP's service standards, already held in high regard in the healthcare and rehabilitation sector.
Representatives from Mentors' Education and the British Council, including Anindya Chowdhury and Maxim Raimann, expressed their gratitude to CRP for placing trust in them as support providers.
CRP offers life-changing support to thousands of individuals each year who are affected by paralysis and other physical and mental disabilities. Officials believe this training will equip CRP staff with the tools to better communicate, collaborate, and represent the organisation on international platforms.
Mentors' Education, which operates 14 branches across Bangladesh—including seven in Dhaka—has a longstanding record of improving English communication skills among students and professionals.
