City Bank and IBA partners to launch executive leadership development programme

City Bank and the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, have recently signed a strategic partnership agreement to launch an executive leadership development programme aimed at enhancing the leadership capabilities of the Bank's emerging and senior leaders. The signing ceremony took place at the IBA premises in Dhaka.

This initiative marks the first of its kind in Bangladesh, where a corporate institution has collaborated with IBA to design and deliver a tailored leadership development intervention specifically for organisational leaders.

The agreement was signed by Mashrur Arefin, Managing Director & CEO of City Bank, and Professor Sheikh Morshed Jahan, Director (in charge) of IBA. Md Mahbubur Rahman, Additional Managing Director & Chief Financial Officer, also represented City Bank at the ceremony. The event was attended by IBA faculty members and senior leaders from City Bank's Human Resources and management teams.

The Leadership Development Programme, to be conducted by IBA's distinguished faculty and industry experts, underscores City Bank's commitment to nurturing talent and advancing its vision to be a future-ready financial institution.
