Citizens Bank, ZNRF University sign deal to promote youth innovation

Citizens Bank PLC recently signed an agreement with ZNRF University of Management Sciences (ZUMS) to sponsor the Youth Acceleration Programme (YAP) at the university's Badda campus in Dhaka.
Md Abdul Latif, Deputy Managing Director of Citizens Bank PLC, and Professor Mohammad Mohiuddin, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of ZNRF University of Management Sciences, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Alamgir Hossain, Managing Director of Citizens Bank PLC, and Nargis Rafiqa Rahman, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of ZNRF University, attended the ceremony. Also present were Md Mostafizur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of Citizens Bank, Dr Mohammad Ali, Registrar of ZUMS, senior officials from both institutions, and numerous students.
Under the agreement, Citizens Bank will support ZUMS in organising the Youth Acceleration Programme across colleges and institutions within Dhaka division, to promote learning and innovation in science, technology, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, sustainability, and leadership through seminars, workshops, competitions, and project showcases.
The initiative aims to equip students with practical skills, foster innovation, and build a new generation of problem-solvers and entrepreneurs contributing to Bangladesh's sustainable development and digital transformation.
